This Policy explains how the Stockmorrow app handles information. The core principle is simple: the app is designed to work offline and does not send the records you enter to the developer or to third-party companies.
1. About the app
Stockmorrow is an offline consumables log for workshops. It lets you track materials and batches, record receipts, adjustments, and usage, reserve stock for jobs, review movement history, and export or import backups.
The app does not require an account and is designed to work without a cloud service.
2. What data Stockmorrow processes
Stockmorrow does not collect or send personal data or other user data to the developer. Information you enter to use the app is processed locally on your device.
In particular, the following may be stored locally:
- material names, units of measure, and batch records;
- receipt dates and expiration dates, quantities, and notes;
- job names, reservations, material allocations, and usage records;
- history of receipts, adjustments, and write-offs;
- editor drafts, the selected working date, and app settings, including volume levels, haptic feedback, and reduced-motion mode.
If you choose to enter names, contact details, or other information about individuals in titles or notes, that information may be personal data. It remains in local records on your device and is not sent to the Stockmorrow developer.
3. Where data is stored
Stockmorrow work records are stored locally in an SQLite database in the app’s data space on your device. The app does not offer its own cloud account and does not upload these records to the developer’s server.
Local data remains on the device until you delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Files you exported separately may remain in the location you chose even after you uninstall Stockmorrow.
5. Export and import
You can export the movement log as CSV or create a versioned JSON backup of materials, batches, movements, and reservations. Those files may contain all of the corresponding information you entered in the app.
When importing, you choose a file on your device. Stockmorrow checks it and shows a preview of the result before replacing your current records. Do not import files from unknown or untrusted sources, and keep exported backups in a secure place.
6. Third-party services, advertising, and permissions
Stockmorrow has no ads, third-party SDKs, third-party analytics, or built-in tracking. The app has no cloud account and does not send data to the developer’s servers.
Some actions, such as choosing a file to import or saving an exported backup, may use standard Android system tools. Those tools are governed by Android platform settings and policies.
7. Data security
Because work records are stored locally, protect the device itself: use a screen lock, install system updates, and do not share backups with other people. Any CSV or JSON file saved outside the app should be protected separately.
8. Deleting data
You control the local records. To remove Stockmorrow data from the device, use the available Android settings to clear the app data or uninstall the app. Exported files and backups must be deleted separately from the places where you saved them.
9. Age restrictions
Stockmorrow is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed at children. The app is a material-tracking tool for workshops and is not intended for posting or distributing prohibited content.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy if Stockmorrow’s functionality or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on the page where this document is hosted. The last-updated date appears at the top.
